With the unveiling of a turbocharged 2020 Legacy, Subaru was the talk of the town at this year’s Chicago Auto Show. Although the debuted model bears a striking resemblance to its last-gen sedan, the all-new ‘20 Subaru Legacy is assuredly far from a carbon copy of the 2019 Legacy. In fact, the hotly anticipated Legacy has been completely revamped, inside and out, and its release will set the stage for Subaru’s busiest autumn in years. (Like the upcoming 2020 Outback, the seventh-generation Legacy is scheduled to go on sale early this fall at Jim Burke Subaru in Birmingham or a Subaru dealership near you.)

New Turbo Engine
Not since 2012 has the Legacy been available with a turbocharged engine. That trend flips with the 2020 Subaru Legacy; a beefy 2.4L turbo-four, which produces 260 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque, will be available in select range-topping Legacy trims.
